Industry Standard

Your carpet represents a significant investment in the beauty of your home. And nothing protects this investment more than a thorough cleaning by Authorized Carpet Cleaning. With our "Standard Service" your carpet is cleaned in accordance to the industry standards required by most new carpet warranties. With our System not only abrasive dirt and soil but any unpleasant spots caused due to drinks, chewing gum, carpet browning, oil, food spillage and certain dyes are also effectively and safely removed from your carpet. "Standard Service" includes pre-vacuuming, furniture moving, pre-spotting and pre-conditioning of all heavily soiled areas. And with our "Quick Dry" process your carpet is ready for use within a few hours.

A healthy home starts from the ground up with clean carpet. Your carpets act as a sink, capturing dust, soil, pollen, dander, food particles and a host of other contaminants. A thorough cleaning by Authorized Carpet Cleaners eliminates these unwanted invaders and restores your carpets beauty. University research now shows that properly maintained carpet promotes improved indoor air quality for your home and your family.

The industry has written minimum standards for carpet, upholstery and other cleaning procedures. Our services exceed these standards.

The IICRC S001-1994 Standard Reference Guide for Professional On-Location Cleaning of Textile Floor Covering Materials, states that certain procedures need to take place for proper cleaning. Vacuuming, pre-treatment and conditioning, extraction, nap setting and dry time are essential elements to obtain proper results.

Vacuuming before “any” process of cleaning removes 79% of dry particulate soils, the most important part of the cleaning process. Pre-treatment and conditioning loosens soils from the carpet fibers so they can be properly released during the extraction process. Our pre-conditioner is a mild, yet high-quality solvent cleaner. This solvent leaves no soil-attracting residue and is easily rinsed away in the extraction mode. Nap setting and dry time go hand-in-hand. Grooming the carpet not only aligns the fiber tufts, but also helps the drying process, providing a longer life for your carpet. It is important to leave a minimum amount of moisture to enhance the vaporization and drying process. Not following these industry standards could result in the “Indoor Air Quality” becoming a health concern for you, your family, and your employees.
